Estate's description Château Rabaud-Promis : The Château Rabaud-Promis, Premier cru classé of Sauternes, located on the town of Bommes, was called "field of Rabeaud" in the seventeenth century. In 1855, the current areas of the château Rabaud-Promis and château Sigalas-Rabaud were brought together. In 1903, Gaston Drouilhet de Sigalas separated the two castles and sold a half to Adrien Promis. The château Rabaud-Promis was formed. The Déjeans currently own the château, and produce wines made from sémillon, sauvignon and muscadelle.
