| Estate's description | Château Talbot: Since the beginning of the twentieth century, the château Talbot belongs to the Cordiers. But the château’s name dates from the fifteenth century. It would probably come from John Talbot, commander of the British Army. Ranked fourth in 1855’s classification, the Château Talbot certainly deserves a better place. It is a very regular and elegant Saint-Julien. The château also produces a second wine, Connétable de Talbot, coming from the youngest vines. Five of the 102 hectares are dedicated to a dry white wine, le Caillou Blanc. Fruity and floral, it is undeniably one of the best Medoc dry white wines. |
