Henry Ramonteau produces wines, which perfectly reveal the soil of the South-West. He develops at the domaine Cauhapé some dry and sweet “jurançons”, from the noble vines of jurançon, the petit manseng grape and the grand manseng grape. These grapes are from the Pyrenees. They have the ability to store natural sugars and produce wines very qualitative, some important qualities required for the development of great sweet wines. An ideal climate (rigor of the mountains and smooth of the ocean) combined with an exceptional soil allow the wines of the domaine Cauhapé to express their full aromatic potential. The 40 hectares of the domaine are cultivated in respect of the environment and are harvested lately. Chant des vignes, Sève d’automne, La Canopée, Ballet d’Octobre, Symphonie de Novembre, Noblesse du temps, Quintessence and Folie de Janvier are the names of the sweet wines that you will discover!
