The name of this cognac comes from its founder, Thomas Hine. In the eighteenth century, he married the daughter of James Delamain, owner of the famous cognac house of the same name. He worked in this house and then decided to create his own company in 1817. The Hine’s cognacs are known to be the official supplier of Queen Elizabeth II since the 1960's.
