Château Trotanoy

Château Trotanoy : Château Trotanoy got its name from the old French « trop anoi » or « trop ennuie », expression that was used to name the work of the fields. It is constituted of 7,2 hectares, which have been the property of Jean-Pierre Moueix since 1953. Château Trotanoy is settled on the most clayey part of the Pomerol sheft, but it is also constituted of small rocks called “graves” .

The vines have an average age of 35 years and are constituted of the main varietals of the Pomerol appellation: merlot and cabernet franc. Once assembled, wines are grown in new barrels (50% of the total). Château Trotanoy is a great classic from the Pomerol appellation with a truffle nose.
