| Estate's description | Domaine Barmès Buecher The alliance between two old winegrower families, with the wedding of Geneviève Buecher and François Barmès, beared of the Domaine Barmès Buecher in 1985. At this time, one third of the production was sold in bottles and the rest, in bulk for the “negoce”. This reasoning was transformed, step by step, in order to sell the whole production in bottles. The Domaine, that bottled, labeled and packaged now all its production, was converted in Biodynamie in 1998. The density of the vine stocks is around 6000 to 8000 stocks/ha and allow a competition between the roots that are diving deeper in vineyards of chalky, clay-chalky and granite-micas soils. The last 30% of the vineyard is set up of sand and pebbles in a dry microclimate. These soils form the typical nature of the wines. Thanks to its diversity, the wines of the Domaine Barmès Buecher are a culinary delight of sweet savours. |
