Estate's description The origins of the name Rauzan-Gassies go back to the noble house of the knight Gassies, and Pierre Desmezures of Rauzan. He created the vineyard of Château Rauzan-Gassies, but also the vineyard of Château Pichon-Longueville. There is still a trace of this famous man on the label of the wine of Rauzan-Gassies, with the wings protecting the grapes. In 1946, Paul Quie acquired the field, then, in 1968, his son, Jean-Michel, took the lead of it. He is now assisted by his children. They propose a Margaux characterized by its fruits flavors.
