Estate's description Château Latour à Pomerol: The vineyard of 7.9 hectares of château Latour à Pomerol takes its name from the small tower attached to its building. This field was the former property of Madame Loubat, also owner of Petrus. Her niece, Mrs. Lacoste, inherited the estate at her death. Madame Lacoste gave this property to the “Foyer de Charité de Châteauneuf de Galaure” in 2002. The “Etablissements Jean-Pierre Moueix” have been the tenant farming of this property since 1962. The vineyard is made up of 90% merlot and of 10% cabernet franc. Elegance, power and softness characterize this great Pomerol’s wine.
