Estate's description Château Lafleur: This small vineyard of 4.5 hectares, located on the Pomerol’s appellation, is certainly one of the rarest and one of the most wanted. Drawn from merlot and cabernet franc (50% and 50%), the château Lafleur’s wines have a quality, out of the ordinary. All these elements and a limited production (on average 12 000 bottles, one of the smallest of Pomerol, with Le Pin) explain, certainly, its high prices. We must however wait few years to enjoy this wine at its fair value, whatever the vintage is. The château also produces a second wine, Les Pensées de Lafleur, coming from the same production as the first wine.
