| Estate's description | Château Beauregard’s history goes back to the eleventh century with the Malta’s knights. The château, itself, was built in 1795. The vineyard now belongs to the Foncier Vignobles Company. Since a few years, many renovations have been made to the vineyards, cellars and cuves. Château Beauregard’s wines are composed of merlot and cabernet franc. The 17.5 acres are harvested by hand. The Château Beauregard also produces a second wine, Benjamin de Beauregard, who comes from young vines and some plots of second range of the field. Exceptional in Pomerol, the Château Beauregard area is a "real" castle, and not a building. |
