Frédéric Magnien

Frédéric Magnien:Born in 1969, Frédéric Magnien represents the 5th generation of winemaker in the Magnien’s family. In order to get some experience, he did the harvests with Jean-Noël Cagnard in 1986. Then, he had worked with his father in the Domaine Michel Magnien from 1987 to 1991. He expatriated in California and then Australia, to learn other winemaking techniques. As soon as he gets his oenology diploma in 1993, he took an important decision with the creation of a negoce house: Frédéric Magnien. The aim was to separate the works of winemaker and breeder. Frédéric Magnien has a very important role of councilor with his winemakers. He can buy grapes he had previously choosen at the right time, in order to breed the wine for creating unique aromatic experiences. Astonishing wines, which have to be discovered…
