Domaine Jacques Prieur

« We cannot totally possess a vineyard. We only stay a witness, who has to transmit it to the next generation. » This quote is the perfect feature of domaine Jacques Prieur. Indeed, its history and vines suit perfectly with the soil. The domaine Jacques Prieur gathers some of the best soil of Burgundy: Montrachet, Chambertin, Corton, Echézeaux, Musigny… These Grands and Premier Crus produce superb white and red wines. The domaine also possesses the monopole of Clos de Mazeray, in Meursault. Since 1870 the different families, who led the Domaine Jacques Prieur, have tried to offer the best wines they could, swinging between organic and balanced agriculture. The wines of Domaine Jacques Prieur are today a world reference for modern Burgundy wines, in particular with their œnologue, Nadine Gublin.
