(...) have consistently brought these high wines to the elite of the appellation Pessac-Léognan. The red wine and the white wine of Domaine de Chevalier were also ordered "grand cru classé" in 1953 and 1959. The area also produces a second wine, “l’esprit de Chevalier”, from young vines and wines unused for the Great Wine.
