(...) have consistently brought these high wines to the elite of the appellation Pessac-Léognan. The red wine and the white wine of Domaine de Chevalier were also ordered "grand cru classé" in 1953 and 1959. The White Chevalier is aromatic and fresh, the red is fine, elegant, structured, powerful and delicate at once. The area also produces a second wine, “l’esprit de Chevalier”, from young vines and wines unused for the Great Wine.
