Château Grand Puy Ducasse : Former owner of Seigneur de Lafite, Arnaud Ducasse bought the estate in 17th century. But it’s his grandchildren, Pierre Ducasse that really created the vineyard. Indeed, he constituted the estate, almost as we know it today by purchasing plots of Bourdieu de Grand-Puy. Then, the following owners had to restore and brought up-to-date the vineyards and wine installation. In 2004, the company CA Grands Crus, subsidiary of Crédit Agricole, bought the estate. Exceptional fact, the Castle is located in the heart of the village of Pauillac so that people can admire one of the most beautiful city-dweller castle of Bordeaux. The 49 hectares of the estate, seed with cabernet sauvignon and merlot are share through 3 different zones. This 5th Grand Cru Classé takes benefits from the advices of Denis Dubordieu. Château Grand Puy Ducasse also produces a second wine, Le Prélude à Grand Puy Ducasse.
