Château la Tour Carnet : Located in Saint Laurent de Médoc, on the appellation area of Haut-Médoc, Château La Tour Carnet is today the property of the famous Bernard Magrez who bought this 4th Grand Cru Classé in 2000. The name of the Château is coming from the tower, middle-aged construction that we can still view today. Indeed, the castle that dates from 13th century, time where he was in the center of the village of Saint Laurent. The squire Carnet gave its name to the estate that he gets as an inheritance for his bravery. As for most of the best wine, the unique taste of the wine from Château La Tour Carnet comes from its soil. The diversity of the soil needs a wine observatory by small piece of soil and done by helicopter. The 73 hectares of Château La Tour Carnet produce wine full of red fruits and cinnamon aromas. The vine grapes use is the cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, petit verdot and merlot. Château la Tour Carnet also produces a second wine, Les Douves du Château La Tour Carnet.
