Médoc wine's selection : The Médoc offers a choice of hundreds of châteaux, with varied and interesting wines. Less complex than great appellations such as Margaux, they are nevertheless all reliable, frank and very pleasant. The Médoc has more than 2915 hectares of vineyards and has produced very good wines in 1961, 1970, 1982, 1986, 1990, 2000 and 2005.
