The origins of château Saint-Pierre goes back to the sixteenth century, when a property named "Serançan" belonged to the Marquis de Cheverry. Then the Baron of St. Peter became the owner in the eighteenth century. At his death, the castle was divided between his two daughters, and the various elements of the property were also spread among them. Different owners then succeed and at the late nineteenth century, two distinct properties existed: "Saint-Pierre-Sevaistre" and "Saint-Pierre-Bontemps-Dubarry”. Today, Henri Martin, (also owners of the château Gloria and the château Belair) took the challenge to rebuild the area. Located in the commune of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle the 17 hectares of the estate are planted in Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
