(...) many improvements, in order to maximize the 80 hectares’s vines, which are certainly one of the most beautiful Medoc’s lands. Château Léoville Poyferré’s wines are the least known of the three Léoville. However, the castle has the greatest growing potential. Uniquely among the Medoc’s wines, “la route des Châteaux” cut the estate in two parts, cuve and the château on one side; and offices and cellars on the other. The area also produces a second wine, Le Moulin Riche, and a third wine, Pavillon des Connétables, coming from the youngest vines.
