There, in the vineyards and in the wine processing areas, respect of traditional methods goes hand in hand with ongoing technical advancements so that each harvest, each vintage achieves its peak of perfection.That is why under the direction of Hubert de Boüard since the mid 1980’s, Angelus has created its reputation of producing one of the very foremost wines in its appellation. Elevated to Premier Grand Cru status in 1996, Angelus is clearly a château to seek out in all vintages. Located next to the town of Saint-Emilion and closed to the famous Ausone, Belair and Beauséjour, Angelus is made with Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Franc, (40%) A Famous Wine, with an undeniable constancy
